New Dodge Dart Special Editions Announced

ELIZABETH CITY, NC- Since the Dodge Dart was launched last June, Chrysler Group LLC has been able to see how customers are ordering their cars. And a year later, the automaker is using that information to make some changes to the lineup. Chrysler announced new Dodge Dart Special Edition Packages will be available in Dodge Dealerships across the United States!

Two new 2013 Dodge Dart Special Edition Packages and a new Rallye Appearance Group will be available on the SXT and Limited models. The new packages include features that are most frequently ordered by Dart buyers and are exclusive to the vehicle's segment. Simplifying the vehicle's offerings allows Dodge to offer the consumer an even better value.

New Dodge Dart Special Edition Packages
2013 Dodge Dart SXT Special Edition- This special edition package will cost an additional $595 but adds a black crosshair grille, dark tinted projector headlamps, projector fog lamps, LED racetrack tail lamps, integrated dual exhaust, Uconnect with Bluetooth, leather-wrapped steering wheel with mounted audio controls, front passenger  seat in-seat storage, remote start, USB port, rearview auto-dimming mirror with microphone, overhead console with sunglass holder, 12-volt auxiliary power outlet, trip computer, vehicle information center, tire pressure monitoring display, active grille shutters and underbody aerodynamic treatment. Plus all of the standard equipment on the SXT model.

2013 Dodge Dart SXT Rallye Appearance Group- For $395 you can add a unique black front fascia, Rallye badge, and class-exclusive 17-inch Hyper Black aluminum wheels to your Dart.

2013 Dodge Dart Limited Special Edition- Featuring the most popular premium features, the Limited Special Edition Package will set you back $1,810. But you'll enjoy everything that comes on the 2013 Dodge Dart Limited plus luxury features like premium Nappa Leather seats, heated front seats and steering wheel, power sunroof, racetrack LED taillamps, Sirius XM Satellite Radio and Travel Link, Uconnect 8.4 inch touch screen with Garmin navigation, dual-zone climate control, remote start, and universal garage door opener.

2013 North Carolina Potato Festival

The 2013 North Carolina Potato Festival will offer food, arts and crafts, games, contests, amusement rides, and live entertainment, all in our hometown! The NC Potato Festival will begin Friday night with a Kick Off Party and will continue the fun all day Saturday. And new this year, Friday's Kick Off Party will feature fireworks during the street dance! The firework show will begin around 9pm during the band's intermission.

Indianapolis 500 2014 Corvette Stingray Pace Car

ELIZABETH CITY, NC- This year, the legacy between Chevrolet and the Indy 500 will be enhanced even further. Marking the 24th time a Chevy has served as the pace car for the race and the 12th time that the Pace Car was a Corvette, the 2014 Corvette Stingray will be inaugurated at the 97th running of the Indianapolis 500! On Sunday, May 26th, the 2014 Corvette Stingray Indianapolis 500 Pace Car will take the track at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to lead the IndyCar pack!

Wearing official Indianapolis 500 graphics that compliment its Laguna Blue Tintcoat, the Indianapolis 500 2014 Corvette Stingray Pace Car didn’t require any powertrain upgrades to lead the field. Equipped with its 6.2-liter LT1 engine with features like direct fuel injection, continuously variable valve timing and active fuel management, the Stingray can produce an estimated 450 HP. Not much differs between the Stingray Pace Car and the production model except for a few track-mandated safety features and strobe lights.

The production 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe doesn't go on sale until this fall, and will be followed by the 2014 Stingray Convertible a few months later. 2014 Chevy Camaro 1LE, ZL1, RS Spy Shots

ELIZABETH CITY, NC- The refashioned 2014 Chevrolet Camaro SS and 2014 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 made their official debut at the New York Auto Show. But what's going on with the rest of the lineup? The other models haven't made their debut yet, but the latest 2014 Chevrolet Camaro 1LE, ZL1, RS Spy Shots reveal some of the updates in store for the other models!

Keeping its blacked-out hood and matte-black rear spoiler, the 2014 Chevy Camaro 1LE will also add some of the new features like the revised lower front fascia, hood vent, and slim grille that we saw on the 2014 Camaro SS. However, we expect the 2014 Chevy Camaro 1LE to stick with its current 426 HP 6.2-liter V8 engine.

The redesigned front end won't make it onto the 2014 Chevy Camaro ZL1 though since adding it would have required a ton of extra work to adjust the aerodynamics and changing the front fascia could have led to issues related to the packaging of its supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine. However, the 2014 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 will wear two new CHMSL lights, one above the license plate and the other on top of the trunk lid.

The less powerful 2014 Chevrolet Camaro RS prototype gets rid of the SS' hood vent but steps up curb appeal with 4 exhaust outlets, compared to the SS' two exhaust outlets. The bold five-spoke wheels will remain the same as the current model, but the Camaro RS fog light trim looks like it will be way simpler that what we see on the more powerful models.
