First 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible Sells For $1 Million

First 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible Sells For $1 Million
ELIZABETH CITY, NC- The very first Stingray Convertible, which has yet to be built, went up for auction this weekend at Barrett-Jackson in Palm Beach, Florida. The First 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible Sold For $1 Million to lucky bidder, Rick Hendrick! Avid Corvette collector and NASCAR team owner, Rick Hendrick, has also already dropped $1.1 million on the first 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe!

Has your jaw hit the floor yet? It's a lot of money to spend to be the first to own the all new 'Vette, but don't worry, the money went towards a good cause! General Motors has donated all of the money from the sale of the first Stingray Convertible to the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute.

If you don't have $2.2 million to drop on a new Corvette Coupe and Convertible at Barrett-Jackson, the 2014 Stingray will hit dealership lots in the third quarter of this year.
