Chevrolet: Title Sponsor of 2013 MLB Home Run Derby

Chevrolet: Title Sponsor of 2013 MLB Home Run Derby

ELIZABETH CITY, NC- Since 2005 Chevy has been the "Official Vehicle of Major League Baseball," and now MLB and Chevrolet are extending their partnership! Earlier this week, the two companies announced that Chevrolet will be the title sponsor of the 2013 MLB Home Run Derby on Monday, July 15, 2013, at Citi Field in New York!

The partnership between Chevrolet and Major League Baseball Properties that began back in 2005, has actively influenced Chevy's promotional efforts including both Chevrolet Youth Baseball and Diamonds & Dreams.

In addition to being named the title sponsor of this year's Home Run Derby, Chevy will also be the presenting sponsor of the All-Star Red Carpet Show! During the All-Start Red Carpet Show, MLB All-Stars will ride across NYC's 42nd street in the new 2014 Silverado before the first pitch is thrown at the 2013 MLB All-Star Game on July 16th. And for those of us who can't be there, Chevy will also sponsor the All-Star pre-game show on FOX and the All-Star Game MVP Award.

But it doesn't stop there! To expand their presence even further, Chevrolet will also sponsor the MLB All-Star FanFest Home Run Derby attraction!

It doesn't get much better than that, one of America's favorite past-times and one of America's favorite automakers joining together for some Major League Baseball fun! If you're interested in the 2014 Chevrolet that will be featured in the Red Carpet Show, stay tuned, we'll be the first to let you know when they hit the lot!
